I have a varied work and study background and have been writing for quite a few years.

My formal qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Teaching with majors in English and Art which qualifies me as a high school or secondary school teacher.  I gained this post grad qualification after completing a three year Diploma of Fine Art majoring in Fibre Art.

After completing a Diploma in Freelance Journalism I wrote weekly art exhibition reviews for the Townsville Bulletin for seven years.  I also wrote various articles for a number of art magazines and journals.

I have also worked at all levels of government and have written numerous reports, policies, and other styles of official writing.  One of my government jobs was co-ordinating web content on the local government website which utilised my skills of writing, marketing, graphic art, technology, and design.

While I love writing about art, my favourite form of writing is blogging about my travels. Sometimes the topics cross over and I get the best of both worlds when I write about art I have seen while travelling.
